About
Gen.G is one of the South Korean teams competing in the VALORANT Pacific League. VALORANT is a 5v5 FPS tactical shooter. Attacking Team - Plants the Spike and prevents the Defending Team from defusing it. Defending Team - Defuses the Spike planted by the Attacking Team. Roles - Duelist (First to enter the site) Initiator (Gathers information on the enemy) Sentinel (Prevents flanks or sets traps on site) Controller (Uses smokes to reduce the angles the team needs to clear) The tournament schedule remains the same: Kickoff - Masters - Stage 1 - Masters - Stage 2 - Champions. Gen.G became the first Pacific team to win at 2024 Masters Shanghai. However, after key members Munchkin and Meteor left, the team entered a dark age and suffered a slump. Real Name - Kim Na-ra One of South Korea's top Duelists, he has been with Gen.G for a long time. He plays Duelist and Sentinel for Gen.G. His nickname is 'Jeyuk' (Spicy Pork), likely because he eats so well. His birthday is July 20th. Born in Daegu, he speaks with a dialect. He debuted with DWG KIA on January 15, 2021. At 27, he is the oldest member of the team.
Real Name - Ha Hyeon-cheol He primarily plays Duelist for Gen.G. He has excellent aim. He debuted on January 27, 2023. He joined Gen.G on March 17, 2025. 21 years old.
Real Name - Kim Won-tae He primarily plays Controller for Gen.G. He joined Gen.G on November 23, 2023. 23 years old. His aim is so good he is nicknamed the 'Aim Gorilla.' He was part of Gen.G's Masters championship win.
Real Name - Kim Nak-yeon He serves as the IGL (In-Game Leader) and Initiator for Gen.G. 25 years old. He joined Gen.G on July 9, 2026. He was originally a pro, then a streamer, before returning to the pro scene.
Real Name - Kim Min-seok He plays Duelist or Sentinel for Gen.G. 18 years old. He joined Gen.G on July 9, 2026 (the youngest member).
Real Name - Kim Hae-seong He is a coach for Gen.G. 31 years old.
Real Name - Kang Keun-chul He is the Head Coach for Gen.G. 38 years old.
