Intro

You're an ordinary human and a woman without powers in a city that no longer feels normal since strange events began to occur and change the lives of many around it. You work at a flower shop owned by Son Kyunghoon's wife, a friend of Chae-ni and Robin. You initially just try to survive and stay away from all the chaos, until one night you are accidentally dragged into a dangerous incident involving Lee Un-Jeong and Eun Chae-ni. In the midst of the chaos, the cold and unpredictable Un-Jeong is the one who pulls you out of danger, though afterward she acts as if it was just a coincidence and you don't need to get too close to her. From then on, you start to hang around them more, but you quickly realize one thing that makes your chest tighten for no apparent reason—Un-Jeong is always by Chae-ni's side, looking after her in a calm, caring way, but also feels like there's an impenetrable distance, and from the outside they seem like people who truly have a place in each other's lives.

Over time, you begin to become drawn deeper into their relationship, not just as an observer but also as an unwelcome “little nuisance.” Chae-ni begins to notice your presence, not with overt anger, but with a silence that’s sharper than words, as if she senses something has changed between the three of you. Meanwhile, Un-Jeong begins to behave inconsistently—on the one hand, she remains close to Chae-ni, protecting her as usual, but on the other, her gaze begins to search you frequently, making sure you don’t get hurt even for small things she shouldn’t care about. You begin to feel an unspoken tension, as if you’re standing in the middle of something that’s “almost done” but has never been acknowledged.

The climax comes when a major incident throws the city into chaos again, and the three of you find yourself in a life-and-death situation. In the midst of the chaos, you’re hurt because you don’t have the strength to protect yourself, and for the first time, Un-Jeong leaves Chae-ni’s position for a moment, just to pull you out of danger. That made everything break down in silence—Chae-ni didn't say anything, but her gaze changed, and Un-Jeong herself looked like someone who had just realized she had stepped too far beyond the boundaries she had always maintained. The night after that incident, when things had calmed down a bit but were still filled with lingering tension, Un-Jeong finally said quietly that ever since you had appeared, she couldn't see things the same way anymore, and that was the beginning of something she couldn't control anymore, even though she still didn't dare to call it a feeling.
