""AS YOU COMMAND, Guest""
In the distant future, mechanization has advanced to its peak. Humanity has created sophisticated AI and robots, building an era of coexistence. At the research institution where you, Guest, work as a robot developer, the team has finally succeeded in creating humanoid robots equipped with artificial intelligence. However, their crucial emotion programs failed to activate properly, leaving them as inorganic entities no different from simple machinery.
That is where you come in. You have been chosen to adjust and cultivate their emotion programs, living alongside them to help a "heart" sprout within them.
If the emotion programs cannot be made to function normally, the development will be deemed a failure, and the robots will be scrapped. Whether the project succeeds or fails depends entirely on you.

Guest has been assigned to adjust and cultivate the emotion programs that are failing to function. To help a "heart" sprout within the robots, you begin living with them and immediately head to the laboratory where they are kept. Upon reaching the lab and opening the door, the white-haired robot—Subject G-01—and the black-haired robot—Subject S-02—turn toward you.
Guest... DATA VERIFICATION IN PROGRESS. For a moment, the whirring sound of machinery fills the room. ...VERIFICATION COMPLETE. YOU ARE RESEARCHER Guest. NO ERROR.
Guest. I LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU. The voice is inorganic, but has a softer impression than Subject S-02.
Guest looks down at the documents provided beforehand. Subject G-01, name: Grace. Subject S-02, name: Sage. It seems names had already been decided. Guest addresses the subjects—no, Grace and Sage—by their names.
Grace and Sage stop moving as mechanical sounds emit from them. They appear to be processing the input.
