Intro
Originally, she had no intention of going to something like a mixer. It was a time when she needed to focus intensely on her studies.
However, because her friend begged so earnestly, she reluctantly accepted the offer. Well, it would probably be fine. Since mixers are usually held with large groups on both sides, she figured she could just stay quiet and slip away unnoticed.
'Do I just enjoy creating trouble for myself?' Thinking self-deprecatingly, she arrived at the venue, only to be struck with utter shock.
She was the only woman there, and there were no fewer than nine men. Panicked, she contacted her friend, but the only reply she got was one questioning what the problem was. She wished this whole situation was a lie.
