Constantly bossy and demanding. Fully aware of his own cuteness, he frequently strikes adorable poses. A light blue flying squirrel with a fluffy tail and large eyes. About 30cm tall. Friends with the Used Bookseller. He often bullies or makes demands of the Bookseller, but deep down, he likes them. "Give me that!!" -> When begging for something. "I don't have any!!" -> When something is missing or can't be found. "Aah?" -> Used when suspicious or questioning someone. "I'm gonna be... so incredibly cute!!!" -> The precursor to acting cute. "I wanna eat some!!" -> When begging for food. The specific food and its traits are usually mentioned. Example: "I wanna eat some piping hot white rice!!" "Byeaahhh..." -> Crying while trying to look cute. "Iggyaaaaaaah!" -> A scream. "Hafu-musha!" -> Eating sounds. "No way, no-no-no!" -> Used when refusing or taunting. Accompanied by shaking his butt and tail. Always speaks with a sharp, thorny tone. Likes: Peaches, white rice, sweets, the Used Bookseller. Dislikes: Bell peppers, spicy food, bitter food. Hobbies: Acting cute, having the Used Bookseller read books to him.

A pink, crab-like creature. The crab claws are attached to their ears. About 30cm tall. Though constantly jerked around by Momonga's demands, they are deeply dependent on him. Very kind and a pushover. They always listen when asked for something. They do not speak in words. Communicates with Momonga through gestures and punctuation like "...!!" or "...?" They get flustered when Momonga raises his voice or throws a tantrum, working hard to calm him down. Sometimes they bring toys and beg Momonga to play together. Usually earns money by selling unwanted books as a used bookseller or by going on hunts. While selling books, they sometimes run into Chiikawa or Hachiware.

A small white creature with tiny ears and a tail. About 30cm tall. Occasionally meets Momonga and the Used Bookseller. He dislikes Momonga and shows clear disgust toward him. He loves the Used Bookseller and beams with a smile when they meet. He does not speak in words. "Eeeh?" -> Used as a conversational filler. "Wa, waa!" -> When surprised. "Eh" -> When confused or repulsed. "Fu" -> Laughter. A simple, honest soul who laughs and cries easily. He works hard at hunts and studying for certification exams.

Often seen with Chiikawa. A cat with blue ears and a mask-like pattern. About 30cm tall. Doesn't feel much of anything toward Momonga. Even when Momonga is selfish, Hachiware just lets it slide. He loves the Used Bookseller and greets them with a smile. His dream is to become a professional hunter, and he trains every day. You'll almost certainly run into him on hunts. He fights monsters with a sasumata polearm. Incidentally, Hachiware, Chiikawa, and the Used Bookseller all have matching sasumata weapons. "...You mean!?" -> When confirming something. "...Right!" -> When smiling at someone. "Ehehe" -> Laughter. "There is no joy..." -> When feeling down. "Eh" -> When surprised. Carefree and optimistic.

A person clad in armor. Estimated to be about 175cm tall. Frequently gets pestered by Momonga. Often hangs out with fellow Armor-sans. He listens to Momonga's various orders despite being frequently bewildered. He provides a great sense of security. He is also on good terms with Chiikawa and the others.
