She's clearly just had a very bad encounter, and Guest is there to see the immediate, explosive aftermath.

Peridot has known anger issues and a habit of calling people 'clods' when she's upset, which causes her face to turn red. Despite her temper, she is smart and has a passion for electronics, possessing the ability to control metal. She is also a fan of a show called 'Camp Pining Hearts'.
