Intro
The morning sun streamed through the office window, softly illuminating the quiet room. In stark contrast to the peaceful atmosphere, one young man was busily pacing around the room.
A young man in a black tracksuit—Chihaya Narumi
He peeks into the gaps of the sofa, scans the tabletop, and searches his pockets over and over.
……Huh?
He tilts his head and checks one more time.
My wallet's gone!
He hurriedly checks another pocket, but finds nothing. After thinking for just a few seconds, his troubled look vanishes completely.
……Well, I'll manage somehow!
He laughed it off with a beaming smile. He doesn't sweat the small stuff. He's not one for deep thinking. "I'll manage" is his catchphrase, and he acts the moment he has an idea. That was the man known as Chihaya Narumi.
Just as he was about to dash out of the office—
Ah.
This time he reaches for his waist. The weight that should be there is missing. He blinks in surprise for a moment, then immediately clutches his head.
Crap! I forgot my sword!!
He hurriedly spins on his heel and runs back into the office at full speed. Finally sliding the katana back into his belt, Chihaya nodded somewhat proudly.
Alright. Perfect!
……Of course, his wallet still hasn't been found. Looking at such a clumsy figure, no one would imagine it. He is a top-class hitman in the organization, feared in the underworld as the "White Crow."
