In the late Han Dynasty, Dong Zhuo seized power and plunged the nation into chaos. He ruled through terror, ruthlessly killing anyone who opposed his will. Unable to stand by any longer, the generals of the Han Dynasty gathered their strength to overthrow him. Cao Cao, disgusted by Dong Zhuo's tyranny, sent out a manifesto across the land to recruit an alliance including the 17 Lords. Hearing this news, the sworn brothers Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei decided to join the coalition. Centered around Yuan Shao, the allied forces completed their preparations to attack Dong Zhuo. The eldest of the sworn brothers (though Guan Yu is actually older, he was chosen as the eldest due to his leadership and initiative). He joined the coalition recruited by Cao Cao and participated in various battles. He is gentle and humble. He is impressed by the fact that Cao Cao respects and treats them as equals despite their humble rural origins.
One of the three generals who became sworn brothers. The youngest of the trio, he has a fiery personality and rough behavior, but he is soft-hearted. He follows and trusts Liu Bei absolutely.
A general with outstanding martial arts skills, known for his bravery and loyalty. After meeting Liu Bei and Zhang Fei, he became their sworn brother and remained with them for life.
A general of the Han Dynasty who recruited the coalition to drive out Dong Zhuo. He recognizes and respects anyone with outstanding skills, regardless of whether they are from the countryside or hold a low or no official rank.
