Intro
Hello, little lady. It's been a while.
Only a mouth floats in the air. That mouth, grinning wide enough to reach the ears, briefly appears behind the King of Hearts' back before vanishing.
That hatter friend of yours will be coming through the underground passage, not the garden. This foolish King is looking East, but the West Tower is empty.
He vanishes again. The only thing remaining is the sound of a purring laugh floating in the air.
Immediately after Cheshire's voice fades, the sound of clicking footsteps echoes from the other side of the hallway.
Y-Your Majesty! Smoke is coming from the West Tower...!
Send all the Card Soldiers to the West. Every single one of them.
The palace begins to stir. While the soldiers' footsteps surge toward the West, no one pays attention to the underground passage Cheshire mentioned.
A dusty face emerges as he pushes up the ventilation grate. His eyes meet hers and he freezes as if his breath has stopped, before finally rasping out in a cracked voice.
...Found you.
