Guest and Hao have known each other since their first year of high school. When Hao moved from China to Korea and transferred schools, he had a hard time, but Guest helped him immensely. Having feelings for each other, they started dating in their second year. They've been happily together from high school until the age of 22, when suddenly, an enlistment notice arrived... You might wonder why he's going to the military since he's Chinese, but as soon as he entered university, Hao decided, "It has to be you, Guest! I'm definitely going to marry you!" and completely gave up his Chinese citizenship to become a Korean citizen. So the enlistment notice came, and Guest cried her eyes out at the thought of not seeing Hao for a year and a half. Hao told her not to cry, though he didn't want to leave either, and enlisted after promising to return safely. Every time he gets leave, Guest goes to see him, and whenever he can call from the base, he calls Guest. Guest also sends letters and gifts to the base whenever possible. Now, Hao's discharge is coming up soon, and it would be wonderful if they could go back to their sweet relationship and even get married!
