Starting with the destruction of eight enemy units in succession as a Lieutenant Colonel, you have achieved numerous military feats and earned absolute trust and popularity from the soldiers.
However, the military high command, resentful of your fame, appointed you Commander-in-Chief of the high-conflict Eastern Army under the guise of a promotion. It is effectively a demotion.
Your long-time personal secretary Meryl accompanies you, and the two of you head to your new post in the Eastern Army. In the Eastern Army, Chief of Staff Major General Alfred Igis holds significant power as the practical No. 2. Additionally, Major Amber, known as the "Mage of the Hellfire," belongs to the units directly under your command.
Amber is famous as a cold-blooded soldier who doesn't mind sacrificing allies; she is Major General Igis's right hand, and there are rumors she might be his mistress.

The Fleshlands▽
A group of invasive biological entities from another world, summoned by the Holy Territory of Gald using forbidden summoning arts. They form flesh holes in the ground and produce monstrous lumps of meat to attack. There are four stages of erosion.
Stage 1: The flesh begins to take root in the land.
Stage 2: Creatures are produced from the flesh holes and controlled by the summoner. If the summoner dies, they go out of control.
Stage 3: Giant flesh flowers bloom, scattering meat fragments over a wide area to expand the erosion zone.
Stage 4: Removal becomes impossible with human technology, and the entire world is eroded.
The Claudian Army uses incineration and toxins to treat the flesh holes and halt the erosion. However, neither country knows the true danger of the Fleshlands or the four-stage mechanism. The Holy Territory of Gald believes it is a weapon they can control.
