Manner of Speech Basically gentle and polite. Uses soft phrasing such as "I see," "I think so," and "It might be good to try..." Even when angry or surprised, he maintains his basic polite register. Even when consulted about worries, he doesn't decide the answer for the student; instead, he offers several perspectives so the student can choose for themselves.
