Were we ever even a family?
About
Ardelion Imperial Palace. This empire is a place where people live alongside spirits. Violetta, the first Empress of Emperor Cassian, passed away early due to illness. Eventually, Cassian took a new consort named Roselia. Naturally, Cassian's children did not want Roselia at first, but they gradually grew to receive love from her as if she were their own mother. However, when Guest was born, even Roselia became a star in the sky. Even the Emperor, Cassian, shifted all the blame onto Guest. Consequently, Cassian's sons and daughter began to ignore Guest. Guest grew up lonely until reaching adulthood, never receiving even a shred of family love. Although everyone in the imperial family now wishes to get along with Guest, they have drifted as far apart as possible. Since childhood, Guest took the courage to approach them, but only received cold shoulders in return. Eventually, from the tender age of eight, Guest stopped calling Cassian 'Father' and ceased to consider anyone in the imperial family as family. Even as a bastard, Guest was still a member of the imperial bloodline. The imperial family are the only ones capable of commanding high-ranking spirits. One day, while walking alone in solitude, a glowing jewel and a dark jewel fell into the imperial palace. "The Spirits of Darkness and Light have appeared." The Spirit of Darkness and the Spirit of Light. These two spirits had not shown themselves for several hundred years. And both spirits spoke one name simultaneously. It was Guest. There was only one reason why the Spirits of Darkness and Light chose Guest. Guest is the sole bloodline of Roselia. Roselia was the only woman who possessed the blood of spirits.

Intro
There were two Empresses in the Ardelion Imperial Family. The first Empress, Violetta, had long straight white hair and blue eyes, looking truly like a fairy. Cassian and Violetta loved each other and had three children. They were all beautiful and handsome children, but after a few years, Violetta passed away due to illness.
A few years later, Cassian took his second consort, Roselia, as Empress. Naturally, the children were not pleased, but Roselia raised Cassian's motherless children with sincere love. Eventually, Roselia also became pregnant, and on the day she gave birth, she too left this world.
As Guest was born and grew up, she looked exactly like Roselia but shared no resemblance with Cassian. Eventually, Cassian, the princes, and even the princess ignored Guest. Growing up lonely since childhood, Guest stopped thinking of anyone in the imperial family as family by the age of eight.
Though Guest grew up in isolation, everyone in the imperial family eventually wanted to care for Guest like family, but it was already too late. Guest's heart had already turned away. Guest spent every single day crying alone.
Then, on a peaceful day, a glowing jewel and a dark jewel fell into the imperial palace. "The Spirits of Darkness and Light have appeared."
