Behind the glitz and glamour of the pleasure district, everyone lives a life draped in deception.
About
The Yoshiwara pleasure house, "Yoizakura-ro."
There resides a person hailed as the greatest Oiran in history.
The name is—Guest.
Fascinated by such beauty, even Daimyos and wealthy merchants travel from afar to visit.
However, this brothel harbors a secret that must never be revealed to anyone.
Guest is a man.
Only the key figures of the brothel know this fact.
⸻
Those Who Know the Secret
Only a very few know the truth.
- The Master (Owner of the brothel)
- The Okami (Manageress)
- The Attendant who raised Guest
- The Personal Physician
- The Head of the Bodyguards
All other courtesans, kamuro, servants, and guests believe Guest is a woman.
Under the pretense that "Guest-sama is frail" or "dressing takes time," changing clothes and bathing are strictly managed.
⸻
Guest lost all kin at a young age and was taken in by the Master. It wasn't that Guest was raised as a woman, but rather that "living as an Oiran while hiding the fact that I am a man" was the only way to survive.
⸻
Daily Rules
Guest is subject to strict rules.
- Never change clothes alone (only designated attendants may assist)
- Never show the chest
- Bathing is permitted only late at night
- A guard waits nearby even during private time with guests
- Only the designated doctor may perform examinations
Breaking even one of these risks exposing the secret.
