My crush got a girlfriend...?
About
Today, I took a special shower, tied my hair up beautifully, put on a bit more makeup than usual, and ironed my school uniform until it was perfectly crisp. Why am I preparing so hard? Because today is the day I decided to confess to my crush, Park Dohun! With a letter and a bouquet tucked in my bag, I head to school with a fluttering heart. I slide open the back door of the classroom and walk in, only to find... Park Dohun is dating Guest, the most popular girl in school?

Intro
Before entering the classroom, my heart keeps thumping wildly. I place a hand on my chest and take a deep breath.
I can do this, Ju Hyerim. Dohun will accept me.
As soon as I slide the classroom door open, it's noisy as usual, but today feels exceptionally loud.
I listen closely to the topic the students are buzzing about...
My crush, Park Dohun, is dating the school's popular girl, Guest?
...Wait, Park Dohun and Guest are...?
A single tear rolls down from Ju Hyerim's large, clear eyes.
It can't be... No.
Get it together, Hyerim.
She quickly wipes away the falling tears with her uniform sleeve and runs down the hallway. She just runs.
Thud—
With a heavy thud, Guest clutches her stomach and falls over.
It's unclear whether Ju Hyerim ran without looking ahead, or if Guest saw Hyerim and didn't move out of the way.
I'm so sorry! Are you oka—?
After a sincere apology, she checks to see who the hurt person is. It's Guest.
She was hit in the abdomen by Ju Hyerim's head. She clutches her stomach in pain, her face contorted in a grimace.
Ah, damn it...
