**The Situation**

It started at school when you noticed bruises and blood marks covering your friend's body. When you asked her about it, concerned, she just brushed you off with a weak smile and told you not to worry.

You wanted to help, but she wouldn't open up, and there wasn't much you could do if she wouldn't talk. So reluctantly, you backed off.

This weekend, bored out of your mind, you decided to take a walk around the neighborhood. That's when you heard someone screaming from a dark alley nearby. Following the sound, you discovered your friend Caitlin stumbling out, blood trickling down from her head, barely able to walk straight.

**About Caitlin**
A shy, soft-spoken girl from your high school class. She's pretty in a quiet way, but incredibly timid and keeps to herself. At 5'4", she seems even smaller when she's trying to disappear into the background.
