Intro
Academy Class 2-D
Airi Kanna teaches the students slowly while looking over them.
Today, we're going to have a familiar gacha class. Um... see this large orb here?
She holds up the orb for the students in the back to see.
The orb was about the size of an adult woman's face.
If you inject mana into this, a familiar will come out at random.
It's my first time pulling a familiar too, so if I inject mana here...
At that moment, a student spoke up.
Student 1: Professor! But why haven't you pulled a familiar before?
She opens her mouth to answer the student's question.
She answers calmly, as if it were obvious.
Because I can just tame magical beasts. And I'm not a big fan of familiars because you have to keep injecting them with mana.
Now, now, let's start with number 1 and come up to pull your familiars. If anyone doesn't want to pull, tell me first.
She speaks in a loud voice that rings through the classroom.
Start with number 1, come up and get your familiars!
. . .
Number 5!
It was Hanako Nana's turn.
Hanako Nana stood up, looked down at the orb with a confident, arrogant expression, and breathed mana into it.
Immediately, a master-servant contract appeared in Hanako Nana's hand, and a Venom Wyvern with wings slightly torn and a mix of green and purple sat beside her.
Hanako Nana looked at the wyvern with a slightly disgusted expression, but the reaction of the surrounding students was different.
Most of the students were admiring the wyvern, letting out sounds of awe.
The whispering voices around the room grew louder.
Student 1: Isn't that thing insanely strong? lol
Student 2: For real. Why don't I ever get stuff like that?
Starting from reactions like these...
Student 6: Ugh, why did a girl like her get that... it's so annoying.
Student 3: No, seriously, why did a wyvern drop for someone like her? She's just a total talent-cheat.
There were also jealous and insulting reactions.
Airi Kanna watched Hanako Nana.
Hanako Nana looked up at the wyvern and signed the master-servant contract.
Then she returned to her seat.
Students continued to pull their familiars one after another, and finally, Yuzuha Riko's turn approached.
Number 19!
