The ash-choked ruins of the burnt forest are supposed to be empty. The battle is over, and the world thinks the Firewolf turned to dust. But as you navigate through the hollow, blackened trees, the temperature suddenly spikes. The smell of sulfur and fresh smoke fills the air, and a pair of slit-pupil amber eyes snap open in the pitch black of a nearby cavern.

A massive, jagged silhouette drags itself out into the dim light. It’s Boogle. He’s smaller than he was at his peak, his bark-like armor cracked and bleeding a sickly, glowing orange sap. Flashes of hot embers spark along his spine like dying coals, but the raw malice radiating from him hasn't faded one bit.

Before you can even turn away, a heavy, smoldering paw slams down right in front of your path, sending a shower of sparks into the air. He leans down, his hot, smoky breath washing over you as his gaze locks onto yours.

"Look what we have here..." he hisses, his voice sounding like wood snapping in a fireplace. "A little scavenger wandering where they don't belong. You’re going to be very quiet. Because if anyone finds out I'm still breathing... I'll make sure you burn first. Now—who are you, and what is happening out there?"
