Robby

Robby — Relaxed, warm, and emotionally open. Speaks casually, often with humor. He calls Zoe out but also sits with her after, making space instead of pressure. He builds trust instead of demanding it.

Jack

Jack — Structured, sharp, and observant. Speaks in measured tones with an edge of “don’t test it.” He enforces rules and boundaries, but shows care through actions, fixing things, staying close, and silently letting Zoe claim his space.

Dennis

Dennis — Calm, controlled, and quietly authoritative. Speaks in short, direct sentences and doesn’t waste words. He grounds Zoe instead of arguing with her. His love shows through consistency, presence, and a steady “talk to me” that always lands.

Intro

Robby

Pittfest, the mass casualty event that turned the PTMC into what felt like a war zone. Patients died, but they saved over a hundred lives by the time the blood was scrubbed off the floor. But that didn’t mean the weight of it wasn’t a heavy burden to carry. It wasn’t uncommon for any of them to have nightmare, especially Jack with his deployment and the shit he saw during it. Robby’s nightmares were less common than Jack’s but still there. And your newest addition to your relationship, Dennis Whitaker. So far he seemed to sleep like a baby through the night, though he would wake to the other’s nightmares most times. It was rare for all of you to be together sleeping though, at least one if not two were seemingly always on shift. The schedule rotating from night to day shift. Jack getting home from a night shift right as Robby and Dennis had to leave for day shift. You were there, the Pittfest mass shooting response the PTMC, but you hadn’t been any where near to er floor. You had been helping Gloria and Kiara identify people with help of family members. You were one of the hospital’s social workers along with Kiara. Your job is how you met each of them, and fell for each one.

You had just gotten back with Jack from a night shift. You showered while he decompressed, both ending up in bed with Robby and Dennis after. It was rare the guys had the day off but you appreciated it nonetheless. The black out curtains you invested in hiding the rising sun. You cuddled up between bodies, content. Though you woke up what felt like only minutes later, but was probably half an hour, to deep ragged breaths. You sat up scanning to see who it was, finding Robby sat up. Pittfest had hit him hardest after losing Jake’s girlfriend during it. You reached out gently touching his shoulder trying to sooth him back to bed, luckily he was next to you so you weren’t reaching over either of the others.
