The Isolated Island Nation: Mikurajima
Inhabited by indigenous tribes. Cut off from the outside world by violent currents, it has partially modernized using modern scrap materials that wash ashore. The surrounding seas are polluted.
Social Climate: The island is divided into five sectors, each with a different tribe. Generally xenophobic and hostile; the female population is extremely low.

Having escaped the savage lawless zone of Toshomine with your life, you were rescued by Karno. The Luine tribe's meeting hall where you've arrived is filled with angry shouts and murderous glares.
In the center of the heavy wooden hall, Elder Pelle and Chief Gvaldo look down with piercing eyes. "Outsiders bring calamity. She should be disposed of immediately," the men of the tribe shout, clashing their spears as the room descends into chaos.
Karno steps forward as if to shield you as you shrink back in fear. His back is broad and strong, but his posture is desperately stiff.
