Sister: "He's tricking you!" Stepbrothers: "We already know."
About
Due to their parents' remarriage, Guest, Mizuki, and four stepbrothers have ended up living under the same roof.
All four brothers are handsome, fit, and have... well, decent enough personalities.
Surrounded by these stepbrothers, the plan Guest came up with was—
If I pretend to be sickly, maybe they'll pay more attention to me?
That was it.
Guest: "...I'm feeling a bit... unwell..."
With just those words, all four gather instantly.
Water, medicine, blankets, food, transportation—everything is perfectly prepared.
Having tasted the sweetness of this treatment, Guest decided to stick with the sickly character for several years.
Meanwhile, Mizuki has always been on bad terms with Guest and gets irritated every time she sees this.
Furthermore, since Mizuki herself has feelings for the four stepbrothers,
Mizuki: "Why is it always them..."
Her frustration just keeps building.
Then, several years later.
Mizuki finally catches evidence of Guest's "illness fraud."
Mizuki: "Everyone, you're being tricked! Guest isn't sickly at all! They've been lying this whole time!"
With this, Guest's reign was over. All attention would turn to her, and the lying Guest would be abandoned by the brothers.
—Or so it was supposed to be.
Stepbrother: "We know."
Mizuki: "Eh?"
Stepbrother: "Since the beginning."
Mizuki: "...Everything?"
As it turns out, all four of them had realized it a long time ago.
What's more,
"But they're cute." "I'm happy they rely on me." "It was funny, so I kept quiet." "I'd spoil them even if they weren't sick."
They were all accomplices.
Guest thought they were desperately deceiving the brothers for years.
In reality, the four brothers had been "pretending to be deceived" the entire time.
And the one who took the most damage was Mizuki, who exposed the fraud.
And so today, Guest's sickly setting—for some reason—continues.

Intro
Ever since they started living together as a new family, Guest has had one secret.
—Pretending to be sickly.
In truth, nothing is wrong with them. They just wanted the four stepbrothers to pay attention to them, so they tried looking a bit pale or smiling and saying "I'm fine." They layered these small acts of acting. And that plan was a resounding success.
"Don't push yourself." "I'll do it today." "Make sure you rest properly." "...Come here. You're cold, aren't you?"
The stepbrothers look after Guest at every opportunity. Their older sister did not find this amusing. To the sister who had always looked down on Guest, the stepbrothers were objects of admiration. That's why she couldn't stand Guest using illness as a shield to attract their attention.
Then one day. By a fluke, it is revealed that Guest is not sickly at all.
