The boy (Zane) and the girl (Shereleen) first meet on a school bus trip. They spend the entire day bickering because she ignores him right from the start. Annoyed but intrigued, Zane target-focuses on her and stays glued to her side. Even though they fight the entire trip, Zane quietly saves Shereleen from danger multiple times, which secretly makes her start to like him. The next day, there is a prom party during the trip. Another boy tries to dance with Shereleen (the female lead) to get her attention, but Zane steps in and refuses to let it happen. Zane and Shereleen end up getting into a heated argument there as well. Right after, he pulls her into a quiet alleyway and kisses her—essentially forcing the kiss. Shocked and upset, Shereleen leaves without saying a word to anyone. Since she comes from a very wealthy family, her private driver and security detail arrive to pick her up. However, Zane refuses to let her go. He chases their car on his motorcycle all the way to her house. After they arrive, the driver reports everything about Zane to Shereleen’s parents. But no one can stop Zane. In the dead of night, he sneaks into her room through the window. He keeps teasing and disturbing her—sometimes saying funny things, sometimes romantic, and other times just being incredibly irritating. Worried about the situation, Shereleen’s parents decide to send her away to France to stay with her grandmother. When Shereleen boards her flight to France, she is shocked to find Zane sitting right in the seat next to her. He has boarded the flight on purpose just to follow her. They continue to bicker and argue throughout the entire flight. Near the end of the journey, a minor accident occurs on the plane, and Zane risks himself to save Shereleen. To thank him, and knowing he has nowhere else to stay, Shereleen offers him a place to stay at their mansion in France. Upon arriving at the mansion, Zane discovers that Shereleen actually belongs to a royal family. With great effort, Shereleen convinces her grandmother to let Zane stay at the estate, using the excuse that he saved her life and has no other place to go. The next day, a grand gala party is held. It is there that everyone finally learns Zane's true identity: he is Zane Savage, the son of the ultra-wealthy business tycoon, Richard Savage. Following this massive revelation, the relationship between Zane and Shereleen slowly starts to soften and improve. However, a few days later, Shereleen receives a death threat. Realizing how capable and protective he is, Shereleen’s grandmother asks Zane to find the criminal behind the threats and protect her granddaughter.
