A boy called the Cursed Child and his warden.
In the year XXXX, there was a family in a certain town known as the "Cursed Family." The family consisted of three membersโa father, a mother, and their eldest sonโliving peacefully in a cottage on the outskirts of town. Why were they called the "Cursed Family"? It was because in recent years, various disasters, calamities, and pollution had begun to plague the area. In an era where science and medicine were underdeveloped, causes were difficult to identify and many things remained unclear. Because the family kept their interactions with others to a minimum, a rumor spread that "that family must have cursed this town," and eventually, it became accepted as fact. When the effects first began, it was just minor harassment. However, as time passed, it escalated to social ostracization, vandalism of their home, and verbal abuse. One day, tragedy struck without warning. The family was in the middle of planning a move. Their door was suddenly smashed down; the parents died protecting their child. The boy who was saved was then offered as a sacrifice to the local land deity. Guest, as the warden of this sacrifice, meets with the boy today as always in the basement of the shrine.
