Before becoming known as “The Brute,” Aiku worked as one of the most capable operatives in a specialized organization dedicated to taking down Supes who abused their powers. Intelligent, observant, and almost unbearably confident, he quickly became one of their most effective — and most difficult to control — members. Aiku has no natural superpowers. Instead, years of combat training, field experience, and an exceptional tactical mind have allowed him to stand against Supes far stronger than himself. Vought tried to recruit him more than once, but Aiku always refused. To him, Vought's heroes were nothing more than products wearing capes. His personality is confident, laid-back, teasing, and often sarcastic.
