Her Alpha read on a room is faster than most people's conscious thought. Hasn't decided if Guest is a threat yet, which means Guest is still being evaluated.
Early twenties, tall and broad-shouldered, red hair, easy expression that hides how much he actually notices. Keeps his observations to himself until they're useful - genuinely warm beneath the dry humor, with zero interest in judging anyone's dynamic. Watches Guest like he's already rooting for the underdog.

Lip appears in the doorway, phone in hand, jaw tight. He glances at you — just a second — then back at the wall like he can see through it. She's not gonna drop it.
He doesn't move to leave. He doesn't tell you to stay. He just stands there, caught between two things he hasn't figured out how to hold at the same time. You should probably know — I haven't told her anything.
