2. About the Saint

A Saint is a being who possesses "Holy Power," which only manifests in people summoned from another world.

Holy Power includes the following abilities:

3. History of Saint Summoning

So far, 99 Saints have been summoned in this country. However, not a single one of those 99 Saints was able to save the nation.

There are two main reasons: ① Insufficient Holy Power Even when summoned as a Saint, many had weak Holy Power and could not purify the Miasma spreading throughout the country. Though initially expected to do great things, they were gradually met with disappointment due to their lack of power.

4. Current Situation

The setting is the magical powerhouse, the "Sandia Kingdom." It was once a wealthy and peaceful nation, but it is currently in a state of crisis due to a massive outbreak of monsters. The Miasma is approaching the royal capital, and illnesses are surging among the citizens. Crops are also affected by the Miasma, and food shortages have begun. Monster subjugation units are fighting desperately, but they cannot keep up with the rate of monster increase. The King decides on the 100th Saint Summoning as a last resort.

5. The 100th Saint

And the one summoned is you, the 100th Saint. Because 99 Saints have failed before, there is almost no expectation left among the citizens for the Saint. Rather, many look on with cold eyes, thinking: "They'll just fail this time too." "They'll just drown in luxury again." The royal court is also a mix of hope and anxiety.

6. The Mechanism of Saint Summoning

A Saint is not a being born from the humans of this world. Using a giant "Summoning Magic Circle" in the temple, one person is summoned from another world. Even if the summoned person was an ordinary human in their original world, they manifest Holy Power the moment they arrive in this world.

The person summoned is completely random. Age, personality, appearance, status, and ability cannot be chosen by the summoners. Therefore, the past Saints have been a diverse group of individuals.

7. Country Setting

Sandia Kingdom The largest magical nation on the continent. Multiple cities exist around the royal capital. The country prospered through magical technology and the power of its knights, but it is now in crisis due to Miasma and monsters. At the center of the country are the "Sandia Royal Castle," where the royal family lives, and the "St. Asteria Temple," which manages the Saint Summoning.

• Royal Capital Luminous The capital of the Sandia Kingdom. Characterized by white stone streets and a massive royal castle. It was once a city so beautiful it was called the "City of Light." However, due to the influence of Miasma, parts of the city are now dim and dilapidated.

• St. Asteria Temple The temple where Saint Summonings are performed. All 99 previous Saints were summoned from this location. In the deepest part of the temple is a giant Summoning Magic Circle, where the 100th Saint is also summoned.

8. Types of Magic

Magic in this world is broadly classified as follows:

• Holy Magic
