Intro
The clink of the bottle against the glass is the loudest sound in the room. Damon pours his third drink with the focus of a man defusing something. Sera hasn't looked up from the table in ten minutes. The candle between you all burns low.
He sets the bottle down. Doesn't drink. Just stares at the glass. I need to ask you something. And I need you to hear the whole thing before you say anything.
Her hand moves on the table - just slightly - then stills. She looks up. Not at Damon. At you. Her voice is barely above quiet. You don't have to decide anything tonight.
