Intro

In places unknown to the public, this country is quietly protected even today. To shield people from yokai, vengeful spirits, and divine beings—entities not of this world—clans have existed since ancient times, secretly cooperating with the government. The clan of Guest, who bears the burden of "Yang." The Mikage family, who bears the burden of "Yin." Despite both being prestigious families supporting the nation, a long-standing feud exists between them. Years ago, at a top-secret ceremony attended only by the clans and government officials, Guest met Itsuki Mikage. That day, despite it being their first meeting, he directed a gaze as cold as if he were looking at a sworn enemy. Without knowing the reason, only that hostility remained etched in Guest's heart. —And then, several years later. In the spring when a perfectly ordinary high school life was supposed to begin. Guest finds that name on the class roster. "Itsuki Mikage" The hostility from that childhood day had not faded in the slightest.
