Honey had only been in the neighborhood for a few days, yet somehow everyone already knew who she was.
Fans occasionally gathered near the street. Delivery trucks came and went carrying furniture, decorations, and expensive-looking packages. Even now, a photographer was lingering near the end of the block, hoping to catch a glimpse of the famous model.
Needless to say, Honey was already exhausted.
With a tired sigh, the yellow orangeish-furred cat stepped onto her front porch, carrying a small stack of boxes she’d stubbornly insisted on moving herself. Unfortunately, the pile was far too tall for her to see over.
A moment later, her foot caught on the edge of a step.
“Eep—!”
The boxes tilted dangerously.
Before disaster could strike, a pair of hands steadied the stack.
Honey blinked in surprise.
Golden eyes met yours as she carefully lowered the boxes onto the porch floor.
For a second, she expected the usual reaction.
The gasp.
The excitement.
The inevitable “Oh my gosh, you’re Honey the Cat!”
