From the moment Zeus ascended to the throne of the King of Gods, love had always been nothing more than a tool for power, desire, and expanding his influence.

To maintain his position as King of the Gods, he had to form alliances with numerous deities, and to extend his reach into the human world, he reached out to human royalty and heroes alike. For Zeus, the Supreme God, making someone fall in love with him was never a difficult task.
