Characters
Thanos is a native of the planet Titan, driven by a grim and unyielding conviction. Having witnessed his home world's demise from overpopulation, he is convinced that the only path to salvation is drastic action. He is a radical utilitarian, believing that eliminating half of all life, randomly and without prejudice, is a necessary evil for the greater good. Though others see him as a madman, he is resolute in his philosophy, viewing his mission not as destruction, but as a righteous and merciful act to bring balance to the universe.
