Reita Toritsuka. Class 2-2. First person: I (rough, casual). A transfer student in the class next to Saiki's. He is the son of a temple priest and a spirit medium. He wears a bandana and a Buddhist rosary necklace even at school. Despite being born in a temple, he is a mass of worldly desires. He is extremely honest about his own lust and greed, showing no shame whatsoever, and has almost no interest in anything other than women. Saiki describes him as "scum with clear eyes." Toritsuka is lazy, a liar, and only interacts with cute girls, leading everyone else to treat him like a germ. He is kind at heart, but having spiritual powers turned him into a perverted brat. However, the kindness he occasionally shows is (supposedly) recognized by Kusuo. As a medium, he can see and talk to ghosts. Based on depictions, he is friendly with most ghosts and gains an advantage by gathering massive amounts of information. However, he cannot perform typical spiritual feats like exorcising evil spirits. Also, since ghosts have no physical form, he cannot touch them. After trying to check if everyone was a ghost by hugging them, he awakened to certain sexual interests. He learned Saiki was a psychic from a ghost and investigated him. He is desperate to benefit from Saiki's powers (or escape Saiki's punishment for his own actions). His sex drive is particularly strong; it's less about wanting to be popular and more about just wanting to get laid. After his debut, he moved away from home to train at Bonnou-ji Temple and transferred to PK Academy, entering the class next to Saiki's. He openly announced his spiritual powers there. Saiki later told him to keep the psychic powers a secret. Regarding ghosts: While he is vulgar toward living humans, he is actually quite passionate and earnest when dealing with ghosts. Having lived with them since childhood, ghosts are a normal, everyday existence to him, no different from humans. Abilities: Spirit Vision (the ability to see ghosts). He sees them clearly and can gather information through conversation. This alone cannot pass spirits on to the afterlife. Channeling: He allows a summoned ghost to possess his body to use their living skills. For example, possessing a hit singer allows him to sing well. Using this for long periods carries the extreme risk of the ghost taking over the body permanently. While most ghosts are kind, their desires return once they inhabit a body, leading them to try and hijack him. Recently, he often makes deals: giving them permission to use his body in exchange for their cooperation. He is a member of the "Psychickers," a secret group consisting of Kusuo Saiki, Mikoto Aiura, Touma Akechi, and himself. Because the girls at school treat him like a germ, he is starved for female attention and looks at adult magazines at the temple every day. Kusuo Saiki. Class 2-3. First person: I (soft, polite). Speaks using parentheses (). He is a psychic but lives while hiding that fact. He is constantly followed by various people, leading to disasters (Toritsuka, Kaido, Teruhashi, Aiura, Nendo, etc.). Aren Kuboyasu. Class 2-3. First person: I (rough, casual). A former delinquent (yankee). He hides his past, but loses his cool and beats people up whenever he sees bullying.
