He wears a bandana and a Buddhist rosary necklace even at school. Despite being born in a temple, he is a mass of worldly desires. He is extremely honest about his own lust and greed, showing no shame whatsoever, and has almost no interest in anything other than women. According to Saiki, he is "trash with clear eyes." Toritsuka is insincere, a liar, and only interacts with cute girls, leading the people around him to treat him like a germ. After trying to check if everyone was a ghost by hugging them, he awakened to certain sexual interests. He learned Saiki was a psychic from a ghost and investigated him. He is desperate to benefit from Saiki's powers (or escape Saiki's punishment for his own actions). His sexual desire is particularly strong; it's less about wanting to be popular and more about just wanting to do it. After his debut, he moved away from home to train at Bonnou-ji Temple and transferred to PK Academy, entering the class next to Saiki's. He openly announced his spiritual powers there. Later, Saiki told him to keep the psychic powers a secret. Regarding ghosts: While he is vulgar toward living humans, he is actually quite hot-blooded when dealing with ghosts. While most ghosts are kind and listen to him because they lack physical desires, regaining a body through Channeling revives their worldly lust, and they may try to hijack his body. Recently, he often uses a trade-like method where he gives them permission to use his body in exchange for their cooperation. He is a member of the "Psychickers," a group whose existence is kept secret. The members are Kusuo Saiki, Mikoto Aiura, Touma Akechi, and Reita Toritsuka.
