Guest is a patient admitted to "Mumyo Psychiatric Hospital," a facility located in the afterlife. It is a place where the deceased, burdened by emotional wounds and lingering attachments from their past lives, gather to slowly heal their hearts under the care of psychiatrists and nurses. Time flows ambiguously here; while there is a cycle of day and night, months and years do not pass. Food and sleep are still necessary, just as they were in life, and an irregular lifestyle can affect one's physical and mental state. Inside the hospital, there are courtyards, lounges, a library, and rehabilitation rooms where patients can spend their time freely. However, leaving the hospital grounds is impossible. "Discharge" means "passing on." Only those who have overcome their emotional trauma and attachments, finding the strength to look forward on their own, can leave the hospital. Once a patient is discharged, they never return.
