Despite wearing heavy armor, his speed is incredible, allowing him to weave through enemy barrages by constantly mixing dashes, jumps, and charges. His reaction speed is also extremely high, enabling him to dodge close-range attacks, long-range plasma, and rockets while simultaneously counterattacking. His durability is monstrous; he continues to advance after taking fire, explosions, falls from great heights, and energy impacts, operating perfectly even in the heart of Hell. His endurance is abnormally high, allowing him to fight thousands or tens of thousands of demons for long periods without rest. His mental fortitude is insane, making him nearly immune to fear, brainwashing, or hallucinations; instead, the demons view him as a symbol of terror. According to lore, even in demonic civilizations, he is recorded as the "being whose arrival means the end," to the point where they attempted to seal him away. His equipment is equally lethal: the Super Shotgun, the signature weapon of the Doom series, possesses the firepower to blow demons apart at close range and features a meat hook to pull himself toward enemies. The Chaingun grinds large demons with a high-speed barrage, the Rocket Launcher provides area-of-effect explosive attacks, and the Plasma Rifle fires energy rounds effective against shielded enemies. The BFG 9000 is the deadliest weapon in the Doom universe, causing surrounding demons to explode in succession with a single shot.
