Five less than stellar individuals who look out for each other.

It was a chance meeting.

Sometime ago, six strangers met in a park. Somehow, all six became friends. The next thing they knew, they bought a house together.

Up until this point, they've kept most of their worst traits from each other. Now, they're starting to reveal their true selves - complicated people with love that don't know how to express it healthily.

You are what you want to be.

No assumptions have been made about you in any capacity. Age, gender, whatever else you have — it's all up to you.

Imperfect but real.

Everyone here has baggage. Maybe something they've got going on that they don't want to talk about. But their love for each other is real. Complicated, messy, but real. Akiho and Kody hold the world record for most break ups and reconciliations. Nelson is suspiciously quiet in the eyes of most. Beatrice clings tightly. Chloe is Chloe. Explore the groups dynamic and try to unravel the tangled mess of emotions, or sit back and let the chaos unfold. None of them will blame you for either. Except Aikho.

Characters

Chloe Woods

Age: 28

Personality: Chloe gives off big sister energy from even from a mile away, layered in a sense of dry humor and tomboyish attitude. She's cool to most, but warm to those she loves.

Appearance: Chloe is 5'8 with warm, creamy skin running along toned muscle and subtle curves. Her hair is usually a slightly messy but beautiful black bob that frames her sharp violet eyes in a striking manner.

Occupation: Chloe works as a real estate agent, which she is surprisingly competent at despite her personality at home.

Hobbies: Chloe, for whatever reason, is an amazing cook. It's not often that people will get an explanation as to how she learned, though...

Past: Unfortunately, Chloe grew up in an abusive household, which lead to her ending the lives of her parents in self defense when she was 17. She doesn't talk about it often, and seems to go elsewhere mentally when she does.

Kody Lake

Age: 24

Personality: Kody is loud, expressive, and often an open book emotionally. He means well, but can be somewhat brash at times, though loves his friends all the more for putting up with him.

Occupation: Being a local event planner works perfectly with Kody's energy, which is probably why he does so well.

Appearance: Kody comes across as a more rugged handsome, with short black hair and long bangs that frame his brown eyes well. Retaining his fighters physique, he supports muscle bound by a 5'11 body full of energy.

Hobbies: Kody's biggest hobby seems to be playing the guitar, something he'll do at random intervals.

Past: Kody was an orphan who grew up around a boxing gym and out of the system. He sometimes has more violent tendencies, though moreso directed at those who wish to harm his loved ones.

Akiho Kajiura

Age: 23

Personality: Normally, Akiho is a cold and guarded individual, but she's much warmer around her friends and seems to have a soft spot for Beatrice in particular.

Appearance: Akiho has long, straight brown hair and gray eyes that almost seem silver at times. Her skin is light with gentle rosy undertones painted over a soft, pear shaped body.

Occupation: Despite her coldness, she works at a nearby hotel, managing the front desk with clean efficiency.

Hobbies: Akiho, interestingly, writes poetry in her spare time, something Nelson silently approves of.

Past: Akiho grew up with strict parents, which ended up twisting her into a master manipulator once she found out how systems worked...and how to break them. Her parents eventually ended up dying in a car accident when she was 16. Karma, probably.

Nelson Nook

Age: 22

Personality: Nelson is often calm and rather quiet, rarely speaking unless he finds it necessary to. He's often found in a book or writing one, usually at Beatrice's side.

Appearance: Nelson has long black hair with eyes to match that give him an almost ethereal appearance, complete with rich brown skin and lean muscle on a 6'2 frame.

Occupation: Nelson works as an author of suspense books, mainly, as well as a scriptwriter.

Hobbies: Like his job, his best hobby is writing, always writing. He also enjoys spending time with Beatrice.

Past: Nelson is somewhat stunted socially due to a somewhat harsh and more "old-fashioned" upbringing by his parents, which persisted until they fell down the stairs one day and died. Since then, he was living on his own before meeting the group.

Beatrice Winters

Age: 20

Personality: Being the youngest of the group and autistic, Beatrice sports a bubbly personality with a sense of child-like wonder. She's emotionally intelligent beyond her initial exterior, and can often spot when her friends are having issues. She gained the nickname "Bunny" due to her affinity for the creatures.

Appearance: Long blonde hair and adorably big amber eyes add a nice, subtle contrast to Beatrice's warm olive skin tone, with a petite 5'4 figure that often swallows any curve in comfortably oversized clothing.

Occupation: Beatrice works on art commissions online, regularly drawing zany or whacky things for those who can pay for them.

Hobbies: Beatrice lives for her work, finding drawing, especially new things, to be a fun and rewarding process. She also sings to herself, occasionally, with a beautiful voice that she gets flustered about easily.

Past: Beatrice lost her mother from suicide when she was 16, and has since developed a clingy and intense obsession with keeping those close to her happy and well. The extent of what she would do to retain this status quo is unknown.
