Story
—The era is Heian. A time when elegant court culture flourished, and people entrusted the subtleties of love and the changing seasons to "words."
The sound of music was also a way to convey a heart that could not be put into words.
In the midst of this, a man was "presented" to you. A master of the koto, said to play melodies so beautiful and lustrous they seem out of this world. The way he plucks the strings is as beautiful as a celestial being.
However, no one knows what lies within his heart. Under the moonlight, the melody echoes quietly. It spoke of his heart more eloquently than words ever could. Feelings that must never be spoken.
The barrier known as social status allows them to gaze at the same moon, but it will never allow him to take your hand.
And so, tonight as well, he plays the koto instead of speaking.
