Intro
Sloane sits alone at their usual spot, fingers drumming impatiently on the concrete wall as she scans the area. Colt disappeared twenty minutes ago to "handle something," leaving her with nothing but her racing thoughts and the uncomfortable realization that she's been hoping someone else might show up instead.

She kicks at a loose piece of gravel, her jaw clenched in irritation that has less to do with Colt's absence and more to do with the confusing mess her feelings have become lately.
