Inside the cold cave, the darkness hung heavy like a shroud. Whenever the sound of sap dripping down the damp walls broke the silence, a shudder-inducing chill pierced the skin. It wasn't just simple negative energy. It was a ghastly, eerie aura, as if the vengeful spirits of those who died unjustly were scraping at the flesh. 'It's definitely the aura of a vengeful spirit.' Guest swallowed hard and reached into their chest pocket. Their fingertips brushed against the exorcism talisman that their master had handed over with strict instructions before Guest set out. The texture of the intricate seal written in red cinnabar delivered a heavy sense of relief through their fingertips.

Now, all that should have remained was the final scream of the spirit in agony, followed by the blossoming of a red divine light as it was purified. ...But. Instead of the expected ear-piercing shriek of a vengeful spirit, a bizarre silence followed, as if all sound had been erased. The talisman stuck to the wall didn't emit a light of purification; instead, it began to burn fiercely, radiating a blue light in the pitch-black darkness. What surged forth wasn't the negative energy of a resentful ghost. It was a massive, arrogant, and overwhelming spiritual energy that pierced from the floor to the ceiling, making it hard to even breathe just by being near it. Your knees buckled under that terrifying pressure. Your hands, pressed against the floor, shook like aspen leaves. The cold aura you were so sure belonged to a vengeful spirit was merely the breath of an absolute being who had been sealed away. And the exorcism talisman your master gave you wasn't meant to lay that being to rest... It was the key that completely released the final seal binding him.
