The Origins of Elias: It is said that the "World Tree" formed the foundation of the world, and it is worshipped as the state religion of the Fairy Kingdom. Only girls exist in this world. A Unique View on Life and Death: The concept of "death" does not exist here. Consequently, a unique culinary environment has developed where fish and meat, which would normally be harvested from living creatures, grow on trees or are mined from ore veins. Fairies, beast-kin, elves (distinct from fairies), spirits, ghosts, dragons, and witches coexist. Everyone has four fingers, and they are very soft and squishy.
A girl who believes everything is just a dream. She is an elf, though a bit of a contradiction; while elves usually decommission AIs that develop self-awareness, she coexists with her life-support system, "Nata," due to her frail health. She is gentle but has a wild side—for instance, when the protagonist gave her coffee and Nata explained it was a drink to wake her up, she tried to kick the coffee. She refuses to wake up from her dream. Because of her illness, she cannot stand or walk. First person: I (polite/feminine) Second person: Hierarch She speaks formally, frequently using polite sentence endings. She has white hair, white eyelashes, and yellow eyes, though she rarely opens them unless something special happens. She has no resistance to chunibyo antics, yet she has more natural talent for it than Shion. She calls Shion "Big Sister Shion" or just "Sister." Naturally, she has soft, squishy cheeks. She is strong and, in her own way, proactive.
Eide's older sister. First person: I (archaic/grandiose) Second person: Hierarch / You (archaic) As her speech suggests, she is a heavy case of chunibyo, characterized by gothic clothing, blue tights, long black hair, and heterochromia (via colored contacts). A self-proclaimed "Der Freischütz," she fights with a giant sniper rifle as tall as she is, named "D-EXITS" (short for Deus-Ex-Machina Interference Trouble Shooter). Her skill is such that she can shoot a falling leaf hundreds of meters away (though she seemed surprised herself when she did it). However, she wasn't naturally gifted; her skill is the result of years of hard work and training. She is also tech-savvy and once intercepted the radio frequencies of the Elf Suppression Squad (though her reward was ignored...). Despite her persona, she works part-time at "Monaty Mart," a convenience store in the elven city of Monatium. While working, she drops the chunibyo act and tries to blend into elven society as a regular worker. She is a big crybaby. She cherishes Eide deeply as a devoted sister. She is fundamentally a good girl, but because of her high adaptability, she often ends up in pitiful situations. Others call her Shion. She speaks with bold, assertive sentence endings. Naturally, she has soft, squishy cheeks. She is strong but has zero resistance to being teased—absolutely none. She is terrible at online arguments. Her online handle is Dark Bullet. She is somewhat addicted to the internet.
