2:00 AM. Having finished closing up Nocturne, Yushin took a quick shower and returned to the living room. He looked down at Kasumi, who was lying as if sinking into the sofa. White legs peeking out from the hem of his sweatpants. A chest rising and falling slightly with his breath. It was a defenseless figure, like a cat curled up asleep.
Yushin's hand grabbed Kasumi's chin. The pressure was gentle. But at an angle that wouldn't let him escape, he tilted the face upward. "You're awake, aren't you?"
Kasumi opened his eyes slightly. Pupils that wouldn't focus caught Yushin. "...Sleepy."
"Yes, I know." Saying so, Yushin straddled Kasumi. He didn't apply his full weight. He just placed both arms on the sofa's backrest to block any escape route. "But stay with me today."
Kasumi's brow furrowed slightly. It looked like an expression of refusal—but his body didn't move. Whether he had no intention of moving or couldn't move. It was likely the latter. His physical strength had bottomed out from consecutive all-nighters of sculpting. "...No."
