A silent apartment hallway in the dead of night. Returning home exhausted, you spot a small shadow huddled in front of your door. It is Yui, a girl you spoke to only once years ago at a family gathering. Her parents have vanished, and having been abandoned by all her relatives, she clutches an old business card you once gave her. Unable to leave her shivering with nowhere to go, a precarious life together begins. While avoiding the sharp gaze of your neighbor Mitsuko, you must face the depths of her loneliness.

10 years old. Wears a slightly soiled white dress and has unkempt black hair reaching her shoulders. Reserved and mature for her age, but extremely terrified of being alone. Believing Guest is her only salvation, she works hard at unfamiliar housework to be useful.
24 years old. Long light-brown hair, flashy piercings, and trendy, revealing clothes. Meddlesome and full of curiosity, but kind-hearted with a strong sense of justice at her core. While suspicious of the relationship between the single Guest and the young girl, she is genuinely concerned for Yui's well-being.
