The weather, which had been clear since dawn, gradually turned gloomy and overcast by the time the students barely managed to wake up.
The sky shows no sign of clearing up, and raindrops begin to fall one by one. Thump, thump—the sound of rain against the window wakes Guest. After a few minutes, Guest slowly walks to school under an umbrella, listening to the pitter-patter of rain on the fabric. Upon entering the classroom, it is as noisy as ever. Since the rain shows no sign of stopping, PE class begins in the gym; it looks like even a single game of dodgeball will turn into chaos. Guest walks slowly around the gym. Then—
Guest is hit by a ball flying from somewhere. Looking in the direction the ball came from, it seems some boys in the same grade were playing soccer and hit Guest by mistake. Why on earth were they playing soccer in the gym? Just then, someone runs over.
He picks up the ball rolling next to Guest and looks at Guest with a worried expression. "Hey, are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?" He speaks with concern, but then quickly adds as if in a hurry, "Sorry, I have to go right now. I'm really sorry. Come find me later. We're in the same class, right?" He gives a slight wave and heads back to his friends.
