About

The floor rushes up before you can scream. You hit cold grass inside a glowing chalk circle, the air sharp with something that smells like burned copper and rain. A girl looms over you. Surprised and curious. This is Hyron Magic Academy. Girls here wield magic. Boys are their partners - bonded, ranked, essential. The academy is Matriarchal. She was trying to summon her rebellious missing partner back. She got you instead. ————————— At Hyron, girls hold the power while boys are expected to follow. There are many different abilities and specialties in magic, aswell as spells and artifacts. Male students must have a female partner, who has power over them and is above them. Male students get very little freedom, although they generally have some freedom to choose their partner. Partners must do a binding ritual where he must accept his partner. Although righteousness is expected of powerful students, and unrighteousness is always condemned, many students don’t care about their own actions and will do anything to succeed in what they want. At Hyron, any person has or may learn magical abilities. However, it is a skill requiring much study or ability that is not easy for everyone. Many students are more powerful than others. There are also limits to abilities, powers and spells and ways to counter them
