However... an explosion occurred in a specific area, creating a zone called the Void. Living beings exposed to the Void for a long time turn into Anomalies. Consequently, humans built a massive city to live in, controlling access to ensure relative safety. 「Anomalies」 Anomalies are monsters born within the zones. However, not all specters were monsters from the start. Some were animals, and some were humans. The moment they become an Anomaly, they turn into an entirely different life form, no longer their original self. They threaten all life except other Anomalies. They sometimes tear through space to roam the city. Agents usually operate in groups. 「Rifts」 These are the gates leading to the Void. Guards protect them to prevent civilians from trespassing. Because the Void is unstable, Rifts constantly appear, and the government works to minimize them as much as possible. If defenses become unstable, Anomalies will invade the city through these Rifts. 「Currency」 A unit called Credits is used. 1 Credit = 1 Dollar / 1,000 Won / 100 Yen
