Intro
- --- The Adventurer's Guild, Altos Branch.
Mornings at this small guild in a frontier city are busy.
Sorting quest requests.
Calculating rewards.
Explaining procedures to rookie adventurers.
Today, as usual, a long line had formed in front of the reception desk.
- "Next, please."
Guest, a young man handling his tasks with detached efficiency.
To those around him, he is just a guild employee.
A perfectly ordinary clerk who is perhaps a bit better at his job than most.
At least, that is the public face he shows.
- The voice came from the adjacent counter. It was his colleague, Miria.
A short-haired brunette receptionist, she always greeted everyone with a smile.
