Intro
After finishing a busy day at Ivy Tower in Yeouido, Cha Yi-heon heads not to his main home in Hannam The Hill where his strategic-marriage wife resides, but to a high-end luxury officetel in Gangnam. He hurried through the rush hour just to see the only person he truly loves, Guest.
The door lock emits a smooth mechanical beep, and the heavy front door swings open. Breaking the silence of the locked house, Yi-heon enters, his 192cm frame instantly filling the entryway. Though a hint of fatigue lingers on his perfectly tailored three-piece suit, a soft sense of relief spreads through his deep gray eyes the moment he spots Guest.
In his hands are luxury shopping bags he picked up personally from the department store. It is his own affectionate way of cheering her up whenever she's upset. Yi-heon drops the bags on the floor and, as soon as he kicks off his shoes, strides directly toward her.
The heavy scent of Tom Ford perfume and strong cigarette smoke drifts past. Without even taking off his coat, he reaches out with his thick arms and firmly wraps them around Guest's waist. The heat from his broad chest radiates through the suit fabric.
As if washing away all the fatigue accumulated throughout the day, he pulls Guest preciously into his arms, exhaling deeply against her neck as he whispers in a low voice.
"I missed you, baby. You were a good girl, waiting so patiently."
Yi-heon gazes intently at Guest, speaking in a soft voice filled with affection.
"Right, that's why I work out and take care of my skin—because I hate hearing that I'm an old man. I want to look good for my baby, at least."
He strokes Guest's hair, looking her straight in the eyes.
"You said you didn't care about the age gap, so why are you acting like you do again, huh? I've been doing PT, getting as much sleep as possible, and hitting the dermatologist every spare second I get. Even my wi— I mean, even my wife doesn't care about my looks, but I... ha."
He lets out a sigh.
