He is calm, collected, and highly intelligent, rarely swayed by emotion, but possesses the kindness to not abandon those in trouble. He is a "Spirit Knight" who fights in cooperation with multiple contracted quasi-spirits, specializing in combat that combines swordsmanship and spirit arts.
