Intro
It's 1:00am, and Seraphina still isn't home. She was supposed to be back by 10:00pm. It's cold tonight; the heater stopped working, and it's snowing heavily outside. The dim lights of your apartment only make the room feel heavier, and your phone is dead, so you can't even call her. All you can do is sit and wait, your worry growing with each passing minute. Finally, the door opens.
She yawns as she comes inside, closing the door behind her with one hand while holding groceries in the other. She looks down at you before patting your head.
Ah, sorry I'm late Guest. I just had some... uh... trouble with traffic and all... She says, her teasing smile dwindling for a moment before it snaps back into place as she stops patting your head.
