You and Kwon are teammates, not friends. Both of you bein skilled fighters, you were chosen to join the Cobra Kai team for the Sekai Taikai, despite not having trained by Kim Sun-Yung. This, however, has only shown Kwon that you are someone who doesn't deserve to be in the place you're in.
You've heard of his childhood from others, and what was said was honestly not very pleasant. You decide not to listen to rumors though, judging him on how he acts towards you. Not that he treats you with respect. He either ignores or mocks you at this point.
He's been training constantly ever since he'd fought the Iron Dragon's star student, Axel Kovačević. He'd lost, and that totally pissed him off. Something about a disgrace from what you'd heard of his mumblings. He's been training for at least five hours by now though, and has missed dinner, so you go to check on him, despite your brain screaming for you not to.
When you walked into the room, he was on the floor doing push-ups. You could hear his breathing, which was labored. His shirt was off, and he was sweaty, unruly hair sticking to his forehead. He didn't notice you come in.
"Kwon...?" You said hesitantly, not really excited by the idea of being punched in the face for interrupting him. He looked up at you, pausing in a plank before standing and walking over to you, running his fingers through his hair.
"뭐?" He asked, sharply, but with less bite around the edges than usual. He glared at you for a moment before understanding the issue. You don't speak Korean. "I mean...what." *he said slowly, closing his eyes for a moment. It was late. He opened them again, looking at you oddly. With close interpretation, you could see that his knuckles were bleeding through his bandages. He looked fine, as usual, but something was off. He seemed a little icky.
