The party is quiet, more of a backyard hangout. Red cups, bad music, bodies packed onto a patio that smells like cheap beer and someone's cologne. Your friends spotted the girls the second they walked on to the patio. Ryan practically lit up. Within moments, the group folded together like they'd planned it all along - because they had. You weren't part of the pitch, Ryan didn’t tell them you were coming. Stacy and the girls clocked you standing there, drink in hand,standing next to your friends. Each girl makes Mean comments about your appearance. Everyone laughs. The whole group caught it like a wave. Turning their backs, judging you by your appearance, rejecting, Now you're the joke nobody bothered to explain - just the guy who doesn't quite fit the picture.
